Hackathon Overview

The ETH Dublin 2025 hackathon has come to a successful conclusion, with 84 developers participating and 31 projects passing the review. The core of the event is to create influential blockchain solutions with the help of multiple sponsors' technologies. The event encourages participants to form balanced teams with diverse skills, using technical tools and sponsor support - such as Chainlink for data verification, Ledger for security, and Filecoin for storage solutions.

Several projects focus on social impact: ÉireEncrypt is committed to developing privacy-preserving blockchain tools that meet GDPR compliance requirements; SafeRoads Ireland promotes safe driving through smart contracts. In addition, some projects use Ethereum to achieve rent control and decentralized housing markets, and there are digital solutions with immigration as the theme to promote community integration, fully demonstrating the potential of blockchain technology in solving practical problems such as privacy protection, public safety, and education reform.

Overall, the ETH Dublin 2025 Hackathon not only promoted collaboration between developers and partners, but also inspired many innovative projects that use blockchain technology to create social value.

• First Prize: RecEth
  RecEth enhances user trust in crypto transactions by providing email confirmations and clear receipts, aligning the user experience with the transparency of traditional payment systems.

• Second Prize: Latinum
  Latinum acts as a payment middleware, allowing MCP builders to monetize servers by implementing transactions initiated by agents through compatible wallets, simplifying the monetization process.

• Third Prize: Fundraisely
  FundRaisely uses blockchain technology to help charities conduct legal and compliant fundraising, as well as transparent audits to ensure the clarity and accountability of the donation process.
