Ever thought about listing a new token on Orca, or starting a new pool with an external token pair?
Well, do not worry, whale friends, because the Community Listing Beta has arrived!
So far, only skilled Orca users have been able to list new token pools by interacting directly with Orca's smart contracts or SDK. However, as part of Orca's mission to create an open and decentralized protocol, the creation of pools will soon make it possible for more whale friends!
Orca currently has over 70 tokens listed. In the Community Listing Beta, users will be able to create pools using any SPL token listed on CoinGecko - well over 500! In addition, Orca users will be able to submit tokens that are not on CoinGecko to the Orca Token Listing for listing suitability review.

Start a pool in just two steps: configure and create
To start, go firsthttps://www.orca.so/whirlpools/create。
Just click "Get started" and you can choose the tokens you want to pair in your pool:

In the next step, you can set the parameters of the new pool: the initial price, the price range supported by your liquidity, and the fees you will receive from traders.
With Orca’s recently introduced fee tiers, you can choose how much to charge traders to use your new pool: 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.3% or 1%. This provides more choice for LPs, drives more competition, and provides greater capital efficiency for all users!
When listing a new pool, it will be pre-populated as much as possible with an initial price and range based on current market data; however, you can also change the values in the boxes yourself, easily customizing these to your specifications.
To prevent duplicate pools and decentralize liquidity, newly listed pools cannot have the same token pairs and fee tier as existing pools on Orca.
Once the parameters are set, it's almost ready to list the new pool!
Orca's UI will soon automatically display a logical order of tokens based on frequently used "quote" tokens. For example, the price of a hypothetical token XYZ worth 10 USDC would be quoted as 10 USDC per 1 XYZ, not 0.1 XYZ per 1 USDC.
