What is the Injective Protocol?
The Injective Protocol is a peer-to-peer decentralized protocol that allows decentralized perpetual swaps, futures, leveraged and spot trading. We have built each component of the protocol as a zero-trust mechanism, and will not be delayed by review. The most important thing is that the entire transaction process is open, transparent, and verifiable.

Injective chain
The Injective chain is linked to Ethereum via Layer-2 side chains and Cosmos Zone. We use the verifiable delay function (VDF) to implement a fair transaction ordering consensus. By enforcing a time delay, we solve the problem of fairness in transactions and the problem that high mining fees in Ethereum will be packaged first.
Currently, Injective Chain powers our Layer-2 derivatives platform, acts as a decentralized Trade Execution Coordinator (TEC), and hosts decentralized open order books. The chain itself is built on top of Tendermint and allows for the transfer and trading of Ethereum-based assets on the Injective chain.
