Covalent (CQT) joins forces with Infura, Tencent and Microsoft to launch decentralized infrastructure network (DIN)
Odaily News Covalent (CQT) joined forces with Infura, Tencent and Microsoft to launch the decentralized infrastructure network (DIN). CQT obtains unstructured data from more than 199 blockchains, sorts it out and structures it for use in DApps, Data analytics and artificial intelligence. Covalents developer community includes more than 40,000 developers and powers more than 5,000 applications. CQT, a Web3 data index with billions of data points in one API, has announced a strategic initiative with Infura, a major provider of blockchain infrastructure, as well as Tencent and Microsoft, to build public infrastructure that improves the internet, said for the Decentralized Infrastructure Network (DIN). CQT will enable Infura’s developers to access rich and granular verifiable blockchain data across multiple networks (including Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Chain, Avalanche), helping and supporting Infura’s growing 450,000 users like never before . With the launch of DIN, Infura is moving towards gradually decentralizing its RPC layer, and to do this it requires the use of validated datasets provided by CQT. Erik Ashdown, Head of Ecosystem at CQ, added: “Infura is going in a completely different direction with the launch of DIN. By working with partners who have already optimized parts of their stack to better serve developers, this truly embodies the spirit of crypto and The saying ‘a rising tide lifts all boats’.”
