Polkadot's one-week observation is a summary of what happened to Polkadot's entire ecology last week, and we will also share some of our observations on these events in the form of vernacular. Observation and Viewpoint

The first is the case of Polkadot and Kusama slot Auction. On August 2, Altair Network won the 46th Kusama parachain slot auction; on August 8, the liquidity guidance protocol Basilisk won the Kusama 47th parachain slot auction. Slot auction.

In addition, Integritee Shell, a privacy computing protocol, won Polkadot’s 23rd slot auction, and the 24th parachain slot auction was launched on the evening of August 5th. Currently, anonymous ID 2057 has the highest bid.

On August 4, Moonbeam, the Polkadot ecological smart contract platform, introduced new functions,The latest upgrade includes the first proof-of-concept access to the EVM via XCM on its Moonbase Alpha testnet, with plans to bring the technology to Moonriver and Moonbeam in the near future。

It allows other parachains to access functions on Moonbeam or Moonriver’s EVM from their main chain within Polkadot or Kusama respectively. In addition to this, XCM to EVM complements the existing XCM Transactor functionality, allowing connection contracts on Moonbeam to send XCM messages to remote chains.

Although this use case has only been tested on Moonbase Alpha, this feature pushes cross-chain links within Polkadot to a new level. At the same time, this is also part of Moonbeam's larger vision to address the fragmented user experience and functionality that exists in the current multi-chain application environment.

Last week, Parity and the Web3 Foundation reached a cooperation with MyEtherWallet to jointly build a multi-chain wallet Enkrypt for Polkadot and Ethereum and other ecology.

Enkrypt supports all Ethereum-based EVM chains, Polkadot and Substrate chains, such as Moonbeam, Ethereum, Polkadot, and BNB smart chains, and more blockchains are being developed。

Crypto wallet is a necessity for Web3 users to enter the blockchain world. With the gradual development and maturity of more and more public chain ecology, users holding multiple assets have gradually become the mainstream. Multi-chain wallets can provide users with great convenience. , will also bring about greater network effects.

With the development of the Polkadot ecology, each parachain project is also developing its own ecology, and new applications are constantly being born, or old applications are connected to the ecology through other means.
