Grayscale and other asset management giants submitted updated XRP spot ETF applications, adding support for XRP creation and redemption
3 hours ago
According to Odaily Planet Daily, asset management companies Grayscale, Bitwise, Canary, CoinShares, Franklin, 21 Shares, and WisdomTree all submitted updated statements for their proposed spot XRP ETFs on Friday, which once again shows that financial companies are eager to obtain listing approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart said that the emergence of these applications is almost certainly due to feedback from the SEC. This is a good sign, but it is also basically expected. The updated document is suspected of changing some fund structures, allowing XRP or cash creation and cash or physical redemption, rather than just cash creation and redemption. (TheBlock)
