Polygon founder criticizes OpenAI for being "pseudo-open source"

According to Odaily Planet Daily, Polygon founder and CEO Sandeep Nailwal criticized OpenAI in an article on the X platform, stating that OpenAI's recently released OSS model is a farce of open source. True open source means giving everyone access to cutting-edge models, not versions that are three levels behind. Anything less than that is just marketing gimmickry. Similar situations exist in the cryptocurrency industry, where large institutions and DAOs play a centralized role. Now, we can only place high hopes on Musk; perhaps he alone will open source his top-tier models, even though this may not be optimal from a financial perspective.
