According to Odaily Planet Daily, Nancy Jones, the widow of the late American country singer George Jones, had over $17 million worth of XRP stolen from her by her ex-boyfriend, Kirk West. West exploited his control of Jones's private keys to steal a Ledger wallet containing 5.5 million XRP and $400,000 in cash from her home. Over 5 million XRP have been recovered, but approximately $1.5 million in assets remain unaccounted for. West has been arrested, and his case is scheduled for trial in October. (FinanceFeeds)
