Odaily News The output of many Bitcoin mining companies decreased in June, mainly due to their participation in the Texas electricity demand response project. Riot Platforms produced 450 BTC this month, a decrease of 12% month-on-month. Its CEO said that the "economic power restriction" strategy was used to reduce peak electricity costs and improve competitiveness. Cipher Mining produced 160 BTC and also reduced operations to actively avoid 4CP costs; MARA Holdings decreased by 25% year-on-year, producing 211 BTC, affected by weather and equipment factors. In contrast, CleanSpark grew against the trend by 6.7%, produced 445 BTC and achieved the mid-year computing power target of 20 EH/s. (Cointelegraph)
