US Authorities Seize $31M in Cryptocurrency Linked to 2021 Uranium Finance Hack

Odaily News The Southern District of New York (SDNY) in the United States issued an announcement on the X platform that the authorities have seized approximately $31 million in cryptocurrencies related to the Uranium Finance hack in 2021. The operation was jointly conducted by the SDNY and the San Diego Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Uranium Finance is a Uniswap Fork project deployed on the BNB chain. In April 2021, hackers stole $50 million due to a contract vulnerability. Hackers tried to launder money through tools such as Tornado Cash. (CoinDesk)
