Odaily News StarkWare co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson announced the launch of the open-source project Starknet Foundry at the EthCC conference in Paris. According to the information on the Github page, Starknet Foundry is a high-performance toolkit for developing Starknet contracts. It was designed and developed by the former Protostar team at Software Mansion and is written in Rust, based on the local Cairo test runner and Blockifie. Starknet Foundry consists of different modules: - Forge: Starknet testing framework (similar to Truffle, Hardhat, and DappTools, but specifically for Starknet). - Cast: An integrated tool for interacting with Starknet smart contracts, sending transactions, and retrieving chain data.
